I was looking for a solution for dry, tired skin and was recommended Thalgo Hydra-Marine Gel-Cream. I’ve been using it for just over a week now and I’m loving the results.

As I mentioned my skin was becoming very dry and tired looking, a combination of the unpredictable weather and the air conditioning and heating solutions that go along with trying to combat the too cold / too hot feelings that September brings.

My first impression of the product was that it looked very high-end and I was excited to try it out, and I was not disappointed. Everything from the texture, smell and feel of this product on my skin was absolutely fabulous. It has a beautiful cooling effect when applied to the face and goes on smoothly with no greasy after effect.

The product smells fresh and invigorating and reminded me of relaxing spa sessions. It is advised to apply over the whole face and neck in the morning and to finish with light pinches to stimulate the skin from the bottom of the face upwards – which is exactly what I did.

I really loved the results of this product and will continue to use it throughout the winter. For me it’s an overall winner.

With the weather change recently, my skin has suffered. I felt like it was really dehydrated and sore.  I know so many people who rave about Thalgo so I decided to give it a go!

I tried Thalgo’s Source Marine Hydra-Marine 24h Cream. First impressions – I LOVE the packaging. It looks super cute on my bathroom shelf and a lot more appealing than lots of other skincare products.

Once opened, the texture is to die for. The cream is so silky but thick and creamy at the same time. Once applied your face instantly feels hydrated.

The only slight downfall is how thick the cream actually is – it only takes a tiny bit to cover your whole face. Be careful not to apply loads otherwise your face will feel wet for a good hour! However, this is quickly a positive as the cream is bound to last ages!

I applied it every morning on a clean face and it has kept my skin so moisturised. There is a significant difference in both my skins appearance and how it feels. Its no longer dry and damaged, it feels protected and soft.

Perfect for normal/combination skin. This product is a definite try; I’ve now converted my friends and mum to try it!
