Review: Gary Sunderland’s ‘Secret Potions Liquid Gold Gelee’

It’s about time I did a review on Gary Sunderland’s ‘Secret Potions Liquid Gold Gelee’. With slick hairstyles becoming increasingly popular this season, this is the must-have product to give you a helping hand! However it also offers the flexibility to be used with any style whether up, down, straight or curly.

Liquid Gold it is indeed - the gel has a slight shimmer that leaves your hair with a lovely healthy shine. After using it for the first time I received compliments on how glossy my hair looked!

We all get the flyaway hair that you just can’t seem to tame now and again. Well, this product is amazing at fighting against this whilst not weighing down your hair. It’s light hold capabilities meant this product could be used in both your day-to-day routine and for occasions too, which you rarely get from only one product!

I only needed to use a tiny amount of gel to get the hold I desired, which was great. It’s so simple to use, all you need to do is apply a small amount to hands, work through the hair from roots to ends. And once I combed it through my hair it didn’t feel dry, brittle or heavy with product like it has with other brands, but felt smooth and silky.

With an all-natural formulation, the Gel isn’t just eco-friendly but it’s kind to your hair and skin at the same time. What more could you want!

Review: The Hair Wizard – Secret Potions Spellbound Shampoo & Conditioner

After hearing such great things about Gary Sunderland’s new ‘Hair Wizard’ range I was more than excited to try it for myself.

Firstly – how cute does the packaging look! The slim bottles sure looked great in my bathroom compared to the bulky brightly coloured supermarket bought products.

The argan scent of both the shampoo and conditioner is truly magical- think of a rainforest full of exotic fruits then you’re spot on!

Containing an all-natural formulation, there are no harsh foaming agents and chemicals in this range. The shampoo felt velvety and easily spread through the hair, not like other brands where you really have to work the product to have any effect. And a little goes a long way – so it’s definitely a worthy investment!

Having dry over-coloured hair like mine, I often struggle to find a conditioner that will help to restore the moisture for more than one day. After using Secret Potions Spellbound Conditioner for merely a week my hair was silky smooth and rehydrated for days on end. 4 weeks on and I am still in love with both these products.

The Secret Potions Spellbound Shampoo & Conditioner are MUST HAVE combination for guaranteed gorgeous locks!
