1. Please note that all transactions on The Salon Look website will be carried out in UK POUNDS STERLING. If you have chosen to have prices displayed in a currency other than UK Pounds Sterling you will see both your chosen currency and the UK Pounds Sterling equivalent shown on the checkout page. The amounts shown in your chosen alternative currency (US Dollars or Euros) may differ very slightly to what you actually pay due to occasional variations in the exchange rate although we do update these each morning. If you choose to pay online using either a credit or debit card you will be given the choice of paying in either UK Pounds Sterling, US Dollars or Euros when you reach the payment page and at this stage you will be shown the exact bank conversion into your chosen currency using the conversion rate applicable at the exact time of the transaction. Your payment, in whichever currency you choose, will then be automatically converted to UK Pounds Sterling. Put simply, you can pay in your chosen currency and we get paid in our currency

2. If choosing to pay online using a credit or debit card you will be transferred to a secure online server when you press "send order". This will ensure that your transaction takes place using 128-bit encryption offering you the best security available on the internet.

3. The Salon Look follows a strict data protection policy. We NEVER use your personal details for anything other than processing your order and your details will NEVER be sold to a third party.

4. Once you have placed your order, confirmation will be sent to you via automated email complete with Transaction and Order Reference numbers. When your order has been processed at The Salin Look office a member of our order processing team will contact you by email to confirm your order status and give you details of order/item despatch from our warehouse.

5. VAT. The price shown on our item pages in UK Pounds Sterling and Euros includes VAT whereas the price shown in US Dollars is exclusive of VAT. If VAT is applicable to your order then the VAT element will be shown separately on the checkout page. Orders from the United Kingdom or any European Union country will be liable for VAT on both product and shipping costs. Orders from outside of the European Union for delivery outside of the European Union will not be liable for VAT on products or shipping but will be charged VAT at the appropriate rate if the order is to be delivered to a European Union country.

6. Placing your order online is completely safe and secure but if you are new to internet shopping, are uncomfortable about shopping online or have any doubts whatsoever and would prefer to speak to a "real" person simply call our customer services hotline on 0844 357 9877 any time between 8.30am and 4.30pm Monday-Thursday or 8.30am and 4.00pm on Fridays (London, UK time). A member of our customer services team will be more than happy to take your order by telephone or if you have already placed your order online and chosen the "payment by telephone" option simply quote your order reference (you will be given this after you have clicked on the "send order" button) when you call and the operator will immediately have details of your order, enabling you to complete your payment quickly and easily.
